Dixie Evans, age 74, of Flatwoods died Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Community Hospice Care Center of Ashland, KY. Dixie was born May 26, 1938 in Irod, KY. She is the daughter of the late John Wise and the late Mary Etta (Diamond) Spillman. She was preceded in death by her husband Arnold Evans. She was a homemaker. She is survived by one daughter: Brenda Kay Wells of Flatwoods, KY and one son: Ronald Ray Evans of Alexandria, KY; ; She also has six grandchildren Mark Anthony Blake; Christina Dawn Hairston; Desiree Renae Benge; Brian David Blake; Bradley Jenning Evans; and Olivia Lyn Evans; Great Grandchildren , Alex Williams Blake; Ashley Blake; Abbigale Blake; Emma Blake; Kayla Blake; Brianna Blake; Braylon Hairston; Myles Hairston; Brandon Benge; Brenna Benge; Kaiden Benge; and Destiny Blake. Preceded in death by Brothers and Sisters, James Spillman, , George Spillman, Roscoe Spillman , Luther Spillman, Ottis Spillman, Watt Spillman, Orville Spillman, Fanny Adkins, Ollie Mae Parsons. The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Monday, January 28 at Wilson Funeral Home 1270 Hwy 2565, Louisa, KY with Bro. Matthew Adams officiating. Burial will be in Dixie Memorial Gardens, Webbville, KY. on Monday,. Calling hours will be Monday, January 28 from 09:00 am to 11:00 am at Wilson Funeral Home Inc., 1270 Hwy 2565, Louisa, KY.
