Earl Bert Lycan, age 75, of Fort Gay, WV, died Friday, January 6, 2012 at home in Fort Gay. Earl was born May 26, 1936 in Globe, KY. He is the son of the late Bert Landan Biggs and the late Hazel (Cline) Lycan. He married Anna Ruth Akers. He served in the Navy during the the Korean War from 05/17/1956 to 12/21/1959. He was employed by American Electric Power in Operations. He is survived by his wife: Anna Ruth (Akers) Lycan , two daughters: Lynn Robinett of Fort Gay, WV, Ann Robinett of Fort Gay, WV and one son: John Lycan of Brevig Mission, ALASKA; son-in-law, George Robinett of Fort Gay, WV; son-in-law, Larry Joe Robinett of Fort Gay, WV; grandson, Tommy Robinett; grandson, Sonny Robinett; granddaughter, Kacy Leedy; grandson, Joey Robinett; grandson, Adam Robinett; grandson, Joshua Robinett; granddaughter, Lucy Robinett; great grandson, Payton Robinett; great granddaughter, Ashley Robinett; great granddaughter, Allison Robinett; great grandson, Elijah Robinett; great grandson, Ezra Robinett. Predeceased by his grandson, Jesse Cleave Lycan, step father, Milton Lycan, mother-in-law, Mommy Lucy, father-in-law, Pap Mack. His wishes were to be cremated. Family received friends on Sunday afternoon at the funerall home, a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
