Marie Hall Borders 95 of Ulysses, KY went to be with the Lord on Thursday September 3, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Marie was born March 26, 1920 at Van Lear, KY the daughter of the late Cort and Ollie Shelton Hall. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Everett Borders who died in 1985, a son Everett Borders Jr. and two brothers Harvey and Monroe Hall. She was homemaker and the oldest member of the Walnut Grove FWB Church. Survivors include two daughters Pat Vanhoose and husband George of Louisa, KY and Pamela Bevins and husband Jim of Ulysses, KY; four sons Harold Borders and wife Phyllis of Gananna, OH, Larry Borders and wife Faye of Mansfield, OH, David Borders and wife Madona of Columbus, OH, and Dan Borders of Ulysses, KY; 15 grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, two special daughter-in-laws Judy Borders and Frances Bryant; five sisters Goldie Johnson, Ruby Johnson, Emma Hagar, Billye Combs, and Clara Hackney. Funeral services will be held on Sunday Sept. 6th at 11:00 am at the Walnut Grove FWB Church with Rev. Jim Bevins and Pastor Jimmy Vanhoose officiating. Burial will follow in the Borders Cemetery at Ulysses, KY. Friends may visit the family from noon Saturday until 9:00 pm at the church. Care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
