Clyde Everett Nelson, age 63, of Louisa passed away Sunday, October 4, 2015 at Louisa, KY. Mr. Nelson was born November 26, 1951 in Louisa, KY. He is the son of the late Clyde Charles and the late Mary Beth (Preece) Nelson. Clyde was a Retired Respiratory Therapist at Three Rivers Medical Center after 36 years of service, a member of the Chandlersville F&AM Lodge, a long standing member of the Louisa Volunteer Fire Department and also served on the Louisa Police Department. Mr. Nelson also served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Era. Survivors include, one brother: Fred Nelson and wife Cheryl of Louisa, KY.Three sisters: Joetta Dixon and husband Junior of Louisa, KY, Karen Smith of Louisa, KY and Patricia Nelson of Paintsville, KY . Clyde also leaves behind four special sis': ILene Thompson, Elaine Frazier, Carol Sue Fugitt and Janet Hardin. Also surviving is a host of special nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. The funeral will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev Jimmy Osborne and Rev. Rudy Crockett officiating. Burial will follow in the Preece Memorial Gardens. Calling hours will be Tuesday, October 6th 2015 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at Wilson Funeral Home.
