Dorothy Faye Armes Marcum, 75, of Louisa passed away on Friday October 30, 2015 following a brief illness. Dorothy was born on March 23, 1940 in Hazard Kentucky the daughter of the late Lewis and Emily Jones Armes. In addition to her parents Dorothy was preceded in death by a daughter; Judy Ann Boyd, a daughter in Law, a granddaughter and a great granddaughter. Also preceding Dorothy in death are 2 brothers and 1 sister. Dorothy was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include 3 Daughters; Connie Jewell and husband Dennis of Louisa, Rosalea Daugherty and husband Byron of Redkey,Indiana and Brenda Most of Burnside,Ky. Also Surviving are 3 sons; Virgil Marcum and wife Mary of Louisa, Kenneth Marcum and wife Martha of Louisa and David and wife Karen also of Louisa. Dorothy was blessed with 21 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday November 3, 2015 at Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. Darrell Ratliff officiating. Burial will follow in the Boyd Cemetery at Nats Creek. Friends may call from 6:00 – 9:00 pm on Monday November 2, 2015 at Wilson Funeral Home.
