Pauline M. Dobyns, age 86 of Fairborn, passed away Thursday June 30, 2016. She was born January 24, 1930 in McDowell, Kentucky the daughter of the late John and Flossie (Martin) Moore. She was a 1959 graduate of Eastern Kentucky State University. Pauline was a teacher with the Fairborn City School, retiring after 31 years of service. She was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church, Fairborn Lions Club, O.E.S Aero Chapter No 536, Greene Co. Retired Teachers, Ohio Retired Teachers Association, and the Fairborn Senior Center. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers. Pauline is survived by her loving husband, Wendell; and sister Nesba Sumner. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday July 6, 2016 at 12 Noon in the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Rev. Karen Cassedy officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will be on Thursday at 11:00 AM in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Louisa, Kentucky. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Fairborn Lions Club Pilot Dog Program –or- First Presbyterian Church, Fairborn –or- Hospice of the Miami Valley. Care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
