William Chaffin 76 of Webbville, KY went to be with the Lord on Sunday July 31, 2016 following a sudden illness. William was born Sept. 6, 1939 at Louisa, KY the son of the late Stanley and Nancy Jane Chaffin. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a daughter Lisa Darlene Chaffin, sisters Freda Mae Prince and Mary Isabella Wilks, and Brothers Noah Chaffin, Freddie Ray Chaffin, and Randy Chaffin. He was a farmer and of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include his loving wife Martha Triplett Chaffin; two daughters Janie Marie Smith and husband Richard and Amanda Kaye Smith and husband Ronald Gene; a son William Terry Chaffin and wife Angela Kay; five sisters Lena Marie Cordle, Reba Jobe, Linda Kay Moore, Virginia Wilks, and Lois Jean Chaffin; three brothers Franklin Chaffin, Owen Chaffin, and Paul Tracy Chaffin; 8 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday August 3rd at 11:00 am at the Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. Lincus Hogston and Bro. Charlie Wilks officiating. Burial will follow in the Blankenship Cemetery on Highway 828 Webbville, KY. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday Aug. 2nd from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home. Care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
