Obituary of Kathryn Lynn Hayes

Kathryn May (Maynard) Hayes, age 58, of Ulysses, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at Riverview Healthcare Facility of Prestonsburg following an extended illness. Mrs. Hayes was born January 31, 1959 in Louisa, KY to the late Julius and the late Frances (Borders) Maynard. She retired from Social Services and was a member of the Belles Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Kathryn is preceded in death by her husband Odas Hayes and a step brother, David Lemaster. Kathryn leaves behind a loving sister, Donna Dancy and husband Greg of Paintsville, KY; a special niece, Paige Dancy Kinzer and husband David of Huntington, WV; a Step Daughter, Tammy Hayes and a Step Son , Michael Hayes. Mrs. Hayes is also survived by a step sister, Marsheila Miller, a step brother, Robert Lemaster and 2 "Brother-Cousins" and 6 "Sister-Cousins". The funeral will be held at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at the Belles Chapel Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. James VanHoose, Rev. Wayne Price and Rev. Larry Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. Calling hours will be Tuesday, June 13 from 6:00pm- 9:00pm at the Wilson Funeral Home of Louisa.
