Larry "Hoss" Hensley 69 of Louisa, KY passed away Saturday Sept. 30, 2017 at his home following a long illness. Larry was born May 21, 1948 at Louisa the son of the late Cecil Virgil and Telia Mae Boyd Hensley. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a daughter Melissa Hensley, two brothers George Vanhoose and Cecil F. Hensley, and two sisters Delores Carter and Brenda Conn. He was a laborer and a lawn mower repairman for years. Survivors include his loving wife Dixie Jobe Hensley; a daughter Sherrie York and husband David of Louisa; a son Terry Hensley also of Louisa; four sisters Patricia Jordan and Flo Leibee both of Louisa, Polly Bartley of Ashland, KY and Georgia Davis of Catlettsburg, KY; a brother Paul Hensley of St. Petersburg, FL; three grandchildren Michele Stacy and husband Donnie of Sturgis, KY, LaShea York of Louisa, and Justin McKinney of Inez, KY; and two great grandchildren Shane Mathew Howard of Louisa and David Morgan Stacy of Sturgis, KY. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday Oct. 3rd at 2:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Maynard officiating. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday from 10:00 am until time of services at the Wilson Funeral Home. Care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
