Obituary of Hallie Jane O'Daniel

Hallie Jane O'Daniel passed away peacefully in her sleep at Three Rivers Medical Center in Louisa, KY surrounded by her children. She was born at Twin Branch in Lawrence County, KY to Dewey Lee and Iona (Spillman) Diamond. She retired as a licensed practical nurse from King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY and had previously been employed at JJ Jordan Geriatric Center in Louisa. She was married to John T. O'Daniel Sr. from October 14, 1961 until his passing on March 26, 2006. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Arlie, Junior, Bascomb, Lewis, Paul Ray, Amon, Felix and Dewey Lee Jr.; granddaughter Paige Elaine Kirk; and, daughter-in-law Melissa O'Daniel. She is survived by her children: Linda (Randall) Clark, Geneva (Tim) Childers, and Todd O'Daniel, all of Louisa and John (Susie) O'Daniel of Tennyson, IN; grandchildren: Jamie O'Daniel of Evansville, IN, Wayne (Karin) Kirk of Louisa, Casey (Kenny) Henson of Georgetown, KY, Tyler (Senora) Childers of Irvine, KY, Megan Childers of Lexington, KY, and Jason O'Daniel of Louisa; and great great grandchildren Kallie Clark and Nikole and Maci Buckler of Louisa. She is also survived by brothers Dennis, Ernest and Charlie, all of Ohio. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, January 15, 2018 at 1pm at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Cox officiating. Burial will follow in the O'Daniel Cemetery on Meades Branch. Friends may visit the family on Sunday, January 14, 2018 from 5-9pm at Wilson Funeral Home. Care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
