I met Karen in 1988 and we worked together at Mr.Gattis in Russell. She had her 2 babies and we became fast friends. We could go years without seeing each other and when our paths crossed again it was like no time had passed. She loved her family and done whatever she could for them. She was a great friend to me and I will never forget her and the love of friendship she showed me over the many years since we first met. Fly high baby girl. I love you, your friend Michele Collins

Karen was a very special friend to us,even if we hadn't seen each other in awhile we knew she loved us and she knew we loved her. Q: How would you describe Karen to someone who had never met them? A: Karen was like a sister to me and my siblings. She was one of the sweetest, most compassionate and strongest women I have ever known. I was fortunate enough to see her recently and her smile still lit up the room. She always told me she loved me. If you were ever around Karen you would never doubt the love she had for others and especially her family and friends.
