Obituary of Conley Eugene Swafford Sr.

Conley E. Swafford Sr. 69 of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on October 23, 2021, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Conley was born September 22, 1952, at Williamson, WV the son of Sylvia Fitch Swafford Miller and the late Jesse Swafford. Conley was a member of the Cordell Freewill Baptist Church. He loved the Lord and served him as a Freewill Baptist Minister for over 20 years. He loved the outdoors also and was logger, truck driver and dozer operator. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, working in the garden, and most of all camping with his kids and grandkids.

Survivors include his loving wife, Leona Swafford; three sons Eugene and wife Amber, Everet and wife Nora, and Charles Leon; three daughters Mary Peck and husband Sidney, Jennifer Stacy, and Christine Sexton and husband Darren; his mother Sylvia Miller; four brothers Danny Swafford, Jimmy Swafford and wife Debbie, Ernie Swafford and wife Brenda, and Terry Swafford and wife Susie; two sisters Sally Swafford and Gail Wells and husband Bobby; twelve grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday October 26^th at 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Vanhoose and Rev. Mike Cox officiating. Burial will follow in the Riverview Memorial Gardens Louisa, KY. Friends may visit the family on Monday October 25^th from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home.
