Obituary of Cheryl Ann Porter

Cheryl Ann Porter 66 of Genoa, West Virginia went home to be with the Lord on January 29, 2025 following a sudden illness.

Cheryl was born on August 4, 1958 in Louisa, Kentucky the daughter of the late Frank Bryant Preston and Glenna Jean Preston Sparks.

Cheryl was a retired Assembly Line Worker and a Medical Records Clerk.

Survivors include her loving husband Gary Porter; her mother Glenna Sparks; three daughters Sarah (Larry) Jividen, Erin Davis, and Alicia (Jeremy) Lemaster; four granddaughters Natalie Collins, Emma Collins, Kaitlyn Jividen, and Sarah Jividen; seven grandsons Casey Kazee, Micah Davis, Lane Lemaster, Finley Lemaster, Logan Jividen, Brayden Hatfield, and Caden Gidley; a brother Timothy (Jo Ann) Preston; two sisters Diana (Danny) Frasher and Angela (Rodney) Stroud; a sister-in-law Sue (Darwin) Davis; a brother-in-law Richard (Judy) Porter; many nieces and nephews; and numerous faithful friends. 

Funeral services will be held on Monday February the 3rd at 11:00 AM at the Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Smith and Pastor Lenny Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in the Workman Cemetery in Radnor, West Virginia.

Friends may visit the family on Sunday February the 2nd from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home.
