Obituary of Jason Lewis Maynard

Jason Lewis Maynard 48 of Stamping Ground, Kentucky passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loved ones on Thursday February 13, 2025 following a long battle with cancer.

Jason was happily married for 22 years to his loving wife Kristie Dawn (Bentley) Maynard. Born to David B. and Sharon (Wright) Maynard, Jason was a devoted employee of Toyota of Kentucky for 26 years.

He was a fun loving and witty guy. Jason leaves behind a memorable impact and a gaping hole in the hearts of everyone lucky enough to know and deeply love him.

Jason most enjoyed camping, four wheeling, shooting pool and spending time with the ones that meant the most to him.

Jason was preceded in death by his Dad David B. Maynard, Paternal Grandparents Gray and Dolly (Ratcliff) Maynard, and Maternal Grandpa Stanley Wright.

Jay leaves behind many adoring survivors including his devoted wife Kristie, Mother Sharon (Wright) Maynard, Grandmother "Ma" Gladys Wright; Brothers Gray, Lowell (Corrina) Allen (Sally) Maynard; Sisters Christina (Clayton) Sturgill and Raelynn Maynard all of Louisa, Kentucky; Loving in-laws Kethel and Carolyn Bentley of Lexington, Kentucky; as well as host of nieces and nephews, cousins and great friends all of whom will miss him dearly.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday February 19th at 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. Martin Wright and Rev. Keith Workman officiating. Burial will follow in the Maynard Cemetery at Donithon Road Louisa, Kentucky. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday February 18th from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home.
