Obituary of Mickey Lynn Rose

Mickey Lynn Rose age 57 was born October 1, 1967 passed away February 16, at Hospice House in Ashland, Kentucky after a long illness.

Preceded in death by her parents Milton and Bessie Laney; three brothers David Preston, Melvin Preston, and Michael Laney; and three sisters Junenell May, Janie Marcum, and Louella Stepp; also preceded by three nephews, Matthew May, Walter May, and Melvin Loyd Preston; and a niece Jeannie Wells.

She is survived by her loving husband William Rose of 38 years; a sister Annie (Brad) Dutton; a host of nieces and nephews. Mickey and William couldn't have children of their own. But they took care of Brianna and Justin when they lost their parents. They help spoil all the nieces and nephews when they had a chance.

She loved everything in her. Mickey loved her dog Clyde and her cats. They were her babies! To know Mickey was to love her. She may be gone from our sight but never from our heart! As William told us the other night he promised to love her till death do us part. He said he loved her beyond the death.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday February  20th at 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. Brad Dutton and Bro. Timothy Rose officiating. Burial will follow in the Frasher Cemetery at Fort Gay, WV.

Friends may visit the family on Wednesday February 19th from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home.
