Obituary of Lowell Maynard

Lowell "Peanut" Maynard 90 of Louisa, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on March 1, 2025 after a long illness.

Peanut was born May 25, 1934 at Milo, Kentucky the son of the late Monterville and Elizabeth Stepp Maynard. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Kay Maynard.

Peanut was a retired machinist at the National Heat Treat Service Company in Columbus, Ohio and after his retirement he was a mechanic at the Pannell Pontiac dealership in Louisa, Kentucky.

He also was a member of the Smokey Valley Enterprise Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters Gail (David) Davis and Debbie (Brad) McCarty; a son L.B. (Benita Hayes) Maynard; grandchildren Caitlin (Brian) Cook, David Lee Davis, Randa (Tyler) McKinley, Kristin Maynard, Autumn (Brett) Criswell, Beverly (Augie) Hayes, Corey Maynard, and Luke Maynard; great grandchildren Ellie Rose Cook, Kaden McKinley, Sophie Kay McKinley, and Mallory Criswell.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday March 5, 2025 at 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Kelly and Rev. Ronnie Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow in the Peanut Maynard Cemetery on Cedar Lane Louisa, Kentucky.

Friends may visit the family on Tuesday March 4th from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home.
