Dorothy Louise Pope 97 of Louisa, Kentucky passed away March 15, 2025 at the Community Hospice Care Center following a brief illness.

Dorothy was born February 3, 1928 at Louisa, Kentucky the daughter of the late Charlie and Hester Woods Bentley. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Rush Pope and a son Charles Creed Pope.

Survivors include a daughter Pamela Pope; granddaughter Katherine-Kaitlin (Zackery) Underwood; grandson Charles David Pope; and great grandsons Charlie Bennett, Austin Pope, and Caleb Pope.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday March 22, 2025 at 3:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery at Louisa, Kentucky.

Friends may visit the family on Saturday March 22nd from 1:00 pm until time of services at the Wilson Funeral Home.
