Obituary of Charlotte Woods

Charlotte Shortridge Woods 80 of Fallsburg, Kentucky passed away June 9, 2025 at Saint Mary's Medical Center following a long illness.

Charlotte was born December 26, 1944 at Fallsburg, Kentucky the daughter of the late George and Ruth Rice Shortridge. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her huband Mickey Woods, a grandson Christopher Branham, and a great granddaughter Olivia Branham.

She was retired Lawrence County Deputy Clerk.

Survivors include two daughters Deborah (Marc) Sanders and Karynn (Michael) Smith; a son Michael (Dejuana) Woods; grandchildren Amanda (Ronnie) Howton, Scott (Kim) Branham, Jessica (Bo Layman) Wells, Brandon (Lisa Marie) Stevens, Erica (Jeff) Sammons, Alyssa Woods, and Michael Abraham Woods; and nine great grandchildren.

A Joint Memorial Service will be held at a later date to be announced by the family.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that expression of sympathy take the form of donations to the Saint Jude Children's Hospital or your local Humane Society.

Care for Charlotte and her family has been entrusted to our family at Wilson Funeral Home.
