Ronnie Lee Tackett Jr. 44, of Louisa, KY passed away suddenly at his home on July 12, 2025. He was born on August 8th 1980 in Logan, WV. The son of the late Ronnie Lee Tackett Sr. and Alana Toler Tackett.

Lee graduated from Gilbert High School in 1998. He attended Marshall University. He worked for Verizon and Frontier Communications as a cable splicing technician for 21 years.

Lee's greatest joys in life were his two children. He spoiled them and loved them endlessly. His favorite past times was binge watching to shows and movies with his precious daughter Emma. He enjoyed planning trips and taking adventures with his son Evan. Lee was an excellent father and his love and care will always be present for his children long after he's gone.

In addition to his father he is preceded in death by a niece, Jessica Cason.

Lee is survived by his wife Jennifer Tackett and their children Evan and Emma Tackett of Louisa; his mother Alana Tackett of Louisa; brothers Lewis (Monique) Tackett of Hurricane, WV and Dwayne (Megan) Tackett of Chickamauga, GA; Howard Adkins of McCayesville, GA; his nieces Megan (Elisha) Otero of Norfolk, VA, Rachel Cason of Charleston, WV, Brooke Tackett of Hurricane, WV, and Kaylee Tackett of ChickAmauga, GA; his nephews Cael Tackett and Gailen Tackett of ChickAmauga, GA.

Funeral services will be held on Friday July 18th at 7:00 PM at Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Tackett officiating. 

Friends may visit the family on Friday before the services from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home.
