Thomas Scott Mortimer 68 of Lowmansville, Kentucky passed away August 1, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Thomas was born May 29, 1957 at Lima, Ohio, the son of the late Edgar Leroy and Mary Irene Marshall Mortimer. 

He proudly served in the United States Army and was a retired Discipline Hearing Officier at the United States Penitentiary Big Sandy.

Survivors include his loving wife Roxana Glessner Mortimer; a daughter Sally Mortimer; two sons Christopher Norris and Travis (Brittany) Mortimer; grandchildren Melissa Norris, Noah Mortimer, Kynlee Mortimer, Breanna Mortimer, Anthony Snow, Nathan Mortimer, and Adreanna Mortimer; a great granddaughter Kahlani Mortimer; two sisters Juanita (Jim) Baker, and Karen (Bruce) Basinger.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday August 5th at 4:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Castle officiating. Burial will follow in the Ira Borders Cemetery on Sugar Plum Road Lowmansville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday August 5th from 3:00 pm until time of services at the Wilson Funeral Home.

Care for Thomas and his family has been entrusted to our family at Wilson Funeral Home.
