Everett Kenneth Preston, 76, of Louisa, Kentucky, passed away on August 8, 2025, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

  Born on November 9, 1948, he was the son of the late Everett Preston and Argue Preece Preston. Everett was a proud veteran of the United States Army, having served his country in Vietnam. Following his military service, he became a successful business owner before retiring.

  Everett is survived by his devoted wife of 53 years, Martha Maynard Preston; his son, Everett Kenneth Preston Il; and his daughter, Stephanie (Stephen) Blankenship. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Haley (Jacob) Mayse, Kaitlin Blankenship, and Emma Blankenship, along with three beloved great-grandchildren, Lillian, Irelyn, and Beckham. He is also survived by his sisters, Lois Preston and Debra Youngman, and his brother, Gregory Preston.

  Everett will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his service to his country and his contribution to his community. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday August 12, 2025 at Wilson Funeral Home with Burial to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery. 

Friends may call from noon until time of services on Tuesday.
