Robert "Bob" Buskirk 91 of Louisa, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on August 16, 2025 at his home following a brief illness.

Bob was born June 23, 1934 at Davavella, Kentucky the son of the late Tucker and Ethel Ray Buskirk. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a nephew Homer Buskirk and siblings Unafay Chaney, Monica Horn, Jim Tom Buskirk, Edna Dieterle, Bill Jack Buskirk, Corrine Gillum, John L. Buskirk, Warnie Buskirk, Ting Buskirk, Phyllis (Marry) Dean, and Nancy Ruth Zelma.

Bob was a retired welder and stockman for Chrysler Corporation and proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War.

Survivors include his loving wife Christine Howell Buskirk; a daughter Kim Hughes, two sons Rob (Melissa) Buskirk and Greg (Candace) Buskirk; two step-daughters Sheila (John) Bernhardt and Ann ( Patrick Land) Smith; ten grandchildren, five great grandchildren; a nephew Brookes Horn, a niece Eunice Horn, and his best friend Clyde Whitt.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday August 19th at 11:00 am at the Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. Phillip officiating. Burial will follow with full military honors at the Riverview Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Monday August 18th from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home.
