James D. Stansbury 88 of Louisa, Kentucky passed away on August 26, 2025.

He was born on February 23, 1937 to the late C. Milton Stansbury and Irene Woods Stansbury.

Survivors are his loving wife of 49 years Sandra Wheeler Stansbury; brother Dr. C. Michael Stansbury; nieces Anna Stansbury, Emma Stansbury, Vivian Fyffe and Martina Lutz; nephew Jason Fyffe and Brandon Wheeler.

James was a member of the First Baptist Church of Louisa and graduate of Georgetown College. He then worked in a Labatory to analyze hydro carbons for Ashland Oil and later for Columbia Gas Transmission Corp. from which he later retired.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Saturday August 30th at 12:30 pm at the Greenlawn Cemetery West with Rev. Chuck Price officiating.
