Aley Edward "Eddie" Cyrus II 47 of Fort Gay, West Virginia passed away September 15, 2025 at the Three Rivers Medical Center ER following a brief illness.

Eddie was born August 11, 1978 at Louisa, the son of Cora Thompson Cyrus and the late Aley Cyrus. In addition to his father he is preceded in death by a brother Darrell Edward Cyrus and two sisters Cathy Cyrus and Annette Bell.

Survivors include his mother Cora Cyrus; a daughter Maria Lynn Cyrus, a son Aley Edward Cyrus III; two brothers Brian Keith Cyrus and Harold Lee Cyrus; and a sister Connie Sue Harvey.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday September 20th at 11:00 am at the New Beginning Community Church with Rev. Kenny Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in the Cyrus Cemetery at Hickory Gap Fort Gay, West Virginia.

Friends may visit the family on Friday September 19th from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the New Beginning Community Church.
