William Albert Elkins Jr. of Huntington, West Virginia formerly of Louisa, Kentucky passed away September 21, 2025 at the Woodlands Retirement Community following a brief illness.
William was born December 20, 1942 at Louisa, Kentucky the son of the late William Elkins Sr. and Mildred Carey Jordan Elkins. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his son William Elkins III.
He was a retired International Nickle Employee and served in the United States Air Force during the Cuban Crisis.
He is survived by his loving wife Clara Jones Elkins; a sister Robin Carey; and a brother David Carey.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to be announced by the family.
