“Susan (Spaulding) Taylor, a mother and sister, passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at the age of 65.

Born on July 4, 1960, Susan's spirit, artistic creativity, and love for animals, were a light to many who knew her.

Susan was a talented sketch artist whose love for creation brought beauty into the world. She devoted her time and compassion to the care and protection of stray dogs, cats, and even possums while growing up. 

She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Lloyd and Louanne Spaulding, longtime boyfriend John Maynard, and survived by her daughter Katrina Ann Taylor, and her brother, 

Michael Spaulding. Her warmth, creativity, and boundless love for animals will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched.

A private memorial service will be held for friends and family on October 23rd at 2:00pm at Wilson Funeral Home in Louisa, Kentucky. Please feel free join us for a light lunch at 1:00pm.”
