Delmes "Doc" Castle 76 of Louisa, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on October 7, 2025 following a brief illness.

Doc was born December 2, 1948 at Louisa, the son of the late Elwood and Gwendolyn Marr Adams Castle. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother Ronnie Castle and a sister Glenna Kimmel.

He was a United States Army Veteran serving during Vietnam and a retired Steel Worker and Laborer with Armco and the Laborer Local 1445.

Survivors include his loving wife of 57 years Janice Akers Castle; two sons Tommy (Melissa) Castle and Todd (Shellie) Castle; grandchildren Tyler Castle, Laiken (Zack) Berry, Hannah Sluss-Tiller, Ethan Castle, and Jacob Castle; Great Grandsons Gunner Berry and Gavin Berry; his brother Steve (Tammy) Castle, Sister-in-Law Glenna Castle, and many special neices and nephews whom he loved.

Funeral services will be held on Friday October 10th at 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. John May and Rev. Jimmy Bevins officiating. Burial with full Military Honors will be held on Friday Oct. 10th at the Riverview Memorial Gardens Louisa, Kentucky.

Friends may visit the family on Thursday October 9th from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home.
