Wilma Jean Chapman, age 77 , of Louisa, passed away on Wednesday November 26, 2025 just two days shy of her 78th birthday. 

Wilma was born in Louisa, Kentucky on Friday November 28, 1947, the daughter of the late Willard and Pearl (Smith) McKenzie. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a son, Rick Chapman and three siblings Donald McKenzie, Bill McKenzie, and Alvalene Perry.

Wilma was a devoted Wife, a loving Mother and a cherished Grandmother who loved her family well.

Survivors include her loving husband Larry Chapman with whom she recently celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary; children Donna (James) Burchett, Bobby (Colleen) Chapman, Larry (Carolyn) Chapman; 6 Grandsons, 4 Granddaughters, and 8 Great Grandchildren; a brother Carl McKenzie; and two sisters Annie Watts and Peggy Bowen. 

Graveside services will be held at 1:30 pm on Monday December 1, 2025 at the Peck Cemetery in Chapman with Rev. Greg Caudill officiating.

Care for Mrs Chapman and her family has been entrusted to the Wilson family of Wilson Funeral Home.
