Carl Douglas Skeens 82 of Fort Gay, West Virginia passed away December 1, 2025 at the Three Rivers Medical Center. 

Doug was born October 18, 1943 at Fort Gay, the son of the late Kenos and Mary Madeline Rowe Skeens. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers Tom and Glenn Skeens. 

He was a retired Chemist at Braskem, a member of the Vinson Masonic Lodge 66 and the Scottish Rites of Huntington, West Virginia, and proudly served in the United States Air Force. 

Survivors include his loving wife of 57 years Elizabeth Ann; his children Craig (Becky) Skeens and Paula (Jonah) Puckett; his grandchildren Mikey, Kayla, Alyssa, Tyler, Carly, Dylan, and Mason; eight great-grandchildren; and a special sister-in-law Brenda Wellman. 

Funeral services will be held on Thursday December 4th at 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Wilson officiating.  

Friends may visit the family on Thursday December 4th from noon until time of services at the Wilson Funeral Home.
