Sheila Irene Chambers Lambert 70 of South Shore, Kentucky formerly of Louisa passed away December 1, 2025, at her home following a long bout with Alzheimers. 

Sheila was born December 19, 1954, at Louisa, the daughter of the late William Russell and Alma Fugate Chambers. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers and sisters Lenora Compton, Barbara Ratliff, Brenda Blankenship, Carol Cyrus, Lori Chapman, Gene Chambers, Billy Chambers, Homer Chambers, and Millard Chambers. 

She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of the Buchanan Chapel Church at Zelda, Kentucky. 

Survivors include her loving husband Jeffrey Allen Lambert; two sons Jeffrey (Anna) Lambert and Timothy (Jennifer) Lambert; a granddaughter Taylor Madison Lambert; a sister Betty Lemaster; brothers Larry and Phillip Chambers; a sister-in-law Carla Miller, and a brother-in-law Greg Lambert. 

Funeral services will be held on Thursday December 4th at 1:00 pm at the Buchanan Chapel Church with Rev. Keith Workman officiating. Burial will follow in the Buchanan Chapel Church Cemetery. Friends may visit on Thursday, December 4th from 11:00 am until time of services at the church. 

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Greater Kentucky Alzheimer’s Association 2808 Palumbo Dr. Suite 205 Lexington, KY 40509.
