Christy Brown 47 of Louisa, Kentucky passed away December 7, 2025, at Three Rivers Medical center following a brief illness. 

Christy was born August 12, 1977, at South Williamson, the daughter of the late Shelby and Janice Southers. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by Grandparents Vella and Harley Jones and Ermal and Birdie Southers. Brothers Dwayne Southers and Ermal T. Southers. A Sister, Shelby Gean Southers Stevens, and Aunt Melinda Jones. 

She was a Homemaker, a Devoted Wife, and a Friend to many. 

Survivors include her loving husband Stephen Brown, Sister-in-law Alice (Sonny) Thomas, Nephew's Dawson and Logan Southers, a sister Lovada Pauline Southers (Glenn Michael) York. Niece's Victoria (Travis) Helmondollar and Elizabeth (Josh) Vestal, a "Special Sister" Tonja Bell (Darel "Egg Head") Runyon, Father and Mother In-law Denny and Josephine Brown, Sister and Brother In-law Stephanie and Neil Blankenship, a Nephew Aaron Pennington, goddaughter's Emily Dillon and Kaylyn Lyons, Perry "Uncle Perry" Jones, and a host of Special Grandkids, Nieces, Nephews, Great Nephews, Friends and Family. 

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday December 10th at 2:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. Denny Brown, Bro. Tom Fuller, and Bro. Mike York officiating. Burial will follow in the Asbury Cemetery, in Dunlow, Wv. Friends may visit on Wednesday, December 10th from 12:00 pm until time of service at the Wilson Funeral Home.
