Calvin Dale Ferguson, 69, left this world unexpectedly on December 5th, 2025, at Doctors West Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He was surrounded by his loving family, who were thankfully able to be there by his side. Calvin was born on July 20th, 1956, in the small town of Blaine, Kentucky, the son of Clyde Ferguson and Ellie Beulah Slone Ferguson.

He was preceded in death by both parents, along with his sisters, Wilma Lee Ferguson and Lura (Sis) Wheeler(Ferguson), and his brothers, Larry Ferguson and Harold Ferguson.

Survived by his loving wife and best friend, Brenda Ferguson (Boldman), and children Cody Ferguson, Jason Ferguson, and Erica Smith (Ferguson), along with grandchildren Kyle Bessen, Taylor Evec, and Fisher Ferguson. His brothers Ledgel Ferguson, Willis Ferguson, and Ellis Ferguson, brother-in-law Jack Wheeler, and his sisters Alvie Clagett (Ferguson) and Jean Lewis (Ferguson) also surviving. Calvin had many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that he also loved dearly.

Calvin loved his family and friends along with hunting, gardening, and Kentucky basketball. He would fish every chance he got and found peace beside his own pond most evenings. He was a hard-working man that worked until the day his body would no longer let him. He enjoyed being outdoors, traveling, and visiting friends and family. He really loved his cars and enjoyed showing them to others. He loved raising, teaching, parenting, and helping Cody learn. He wanted to make sure Cody was cared for. Calvin was honored to be a Ferguson and proud to have come from Blaine. May he now rest in peace there. He will be missed deeply by all.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday December 12th at 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the family cemetery at Blaine, Kentucky. Friends may visit the family on Friday December 12th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home.
