Anna Katherine “Anna K” Scarberry, 90, of Circleville, Ohio, formerly of Louisa, Kentucky, went to be with our Lord on December 18, 2025.
Anna K. was born June 25, 1935, in Louisa, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Benjamin Harrison Roberts and Mary Adams Roberts. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Alvin Harold Scarberry; and her siblings Marvin (Regaina) Roberts, Wendall (Noretta) Roberts, Victor Eugene (Junita) Roberts, Benjamin (Kelsa) Roberts, Melvin Roberts, Mildred (Bill) Calton, Edith Roberts Baker.
Anna K. was a retired Retail Associate with Hallmark Stores, a member of the Lowmansville Eastern Star Lodge 497 and Past Worthy Grand Matron. And proudly served as the Grand Chapter of Kentucky OES, as Deputy Grand Matron. She was a devoted member of Charley Freewill Baptist Church. Anna K. was a loving wife, daughter, and a cherished neighbor to all in her community. Her greatest joys were singing gospel music and offering her time, compassion, and kindness to anyone in need.
Survivors include her daughter, Wanda Marcum and husband Michael Marcum of Circleville, Ohio; her son, Melvin Scarberry and wife Deborah Scarberry of London, KY; grandsons, Michael David Marcum II and J. P. Patton; nieces Cheryl Goble, Nyoka Chapman, Sheliah (Sam) Harlan, Renae Chidley, and Stormie Roberts; nephews Victor Roberts, James Roberts; three great nephews Cade Harlan, Nathan Rogers and Josh Roberts; one great, great, niece Alexandria Harlan.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday December 27th at 1:00 pm at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Stout officiating. Burial will follow in the Yatesville Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit the family prior to the funeral service from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home.
