Edith Ann West Walker, age 80, of Louisa, Kentucky, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on December 26, 2025. She was a woman of deep faith, boundless love, and a heart that touched everyone she met.

Edith was a devoted wife to her loving husband, Robert Walker, and a proud and caring mother to her children: son Wes (Audra) Kingsmore and daughter Leslie (Bruce) Hereford. She was a cherished grandmother to Dustin (Courtney) Kingsmore, Ryan (Emily) Kingsmore, Landon Hereford, and Aden Hereford, and a loving great-grandmother to Camden Kingsmore and Jackson Kingsmore, each of whom brought her immense joy and pride.

She was a faithful member of Lighthouse Freewill Baptist Church, where her love for the Lord and her church family shone brightly. Edith had a rare gift of making everyone feel welcome—she never met a stranger and carried a generous, giving heart wherever she went. Her warm smile and kind spirit were a light to all who knew her.

Edith dedicated many years of her life to the Lawrence County School System, serving as an instructional aide. Through her patience, compassion, and encouragement, she made a lasting impact on countless students and families.

Born in Martha, Kentucky, Edith was one of eleven children born to Noah and Mertie West and shared a lifetime of memories with her siblings Claude, Gene, Spencer, Buck, Leatrice, Lana, Don, Josie, Junior, and Eddie.

Above all, Edith loved her family deeply and lived her life as a reflection of kindness, faith, and selflessness. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her, and her legacy of love will continue through generations.

Funeral services will be held on Monday December 29th at 2:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Everet Swafford officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery Louisa, KY. Friends may visit the family on Monday December 29th from 11:00 am unit time of services at Wilson Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family requested donations be made to your favorite children’s charity.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
