Earnest Thompson 51 of Louisa, Kentucky passed away on January 2, 2026 at his home following a long illness.

Earnest was born February 15, 1974 at Columbus, Ohio the son of Ronnie Thompson and the late Virginia Moore Thompson. He worked for the Kentucky Department of Forestry as a Firefighter.

Survivors include his loving wife Teresa Thompson; a daughter Laken (Donald Pack) Thompson; a son Trenton Thompson; grandchildren Brayden, Veronica, Jessie, Lilith, Tyler, Ava, and John; his father Ronnie Thompson; brother Ronnie (Amanda) Thompson Jr. and Quentin Thompson,  nieces Shelby Caskey and Alyssa Caskey; and a sister Malena (Michael) Fannin.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday January 6th at 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. Todd Scarberry officiating. Burial will follow in the Thompson Sunrise Cemetery on Highway 1760 Louisa, Kentucky.

Friends may visit the family on Tuesday January 6th from 11:00 am until time of services at Wilson Funeral Home.
