James S. (Jimmy) Ball Jr. born October 18, 1950 departed this earthly body January 6, 2026 at 7:50 a.m. for a new body with Christ, Jimmy had several illness's he could not overcome.
He leaves behing his devoted and loving wife, Mary C. (Wellman) Ball who stood beside him until the end. Several special sister-in-laws's, brother-in-law's, nieces and nephews, Special cousins, church family and friends plus a special friend Johnny Maynard.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents James S. Ball Sr. and Mary (Pennington) Ball. Also his Father-in-law Melvin G. Wellman and Mary C. (Bishop) Wellman, Three Brother-in-laws Michael Davies, Bob Levering, and Richard Endicott.
Jimmy was a member of the Garden of Hope Church for many years where he served as Trustee. He was a former employee of Genesis Respiratory as a Delivery Tech for 17 years which he loved.
MATTHEW 5:16 KJV Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good work, and glorify your father which is in Heaven. Jimmy fulfilled this scripture in his Prayer Cloth Ministry that comforted many people he met in his journey of life. He was a great example of "Works" as spoken in this scripture.
The family wants to praise the J.J. Jordan facility for their special care they gave to him and wife, also Three Rivers Hospital and Kings Daughters hospital, Kings Daugters Hospice for their loving care.
Mary also wants to thank all their family and friends for all they have done for them. Also their Church Family has been so good to them. Jimmy's presence in the church and leadership will surely be missed by all.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday January 10th at 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. Brian Ratliff and Bro. Caden Ratliff officiating. Burial will follow in the Short Cemetery Louisa, Kentucky. Friends may visit the family on Friday January 9th from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Wilson Funeral Home.
