Margaret Jean (Nolan) Dickerson,90, of Louisa, KY passed away on January 27, 2026.

Jean was born in Louisa, KY to Vint and Virginia Nolan on January 3, 1936. She always celebrated it on the 1st saying she was born at home and the weather prevented them from getting to the hospital earlier. She married Walter Dickerson on July 21st, 1952. Retiring from Nelsons in Princeville, IL. Jean loved to cook and try out new recipes. Often measuring with her heart, making it difficult to follow her recipes. Taking care of her family brought her great joy.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters Karen Nolan and Ruth Sprenkle, brother Curtis Nolan, granddaughter Shelly, and great grandson Austin.

Surviving is her sister Maxine Saulsberry, brother Bobby Nolan both from Louisa, KY. 5 Children Walter (Dianna) Dickerson of Chillicothe, IL, Mike (Joanne) Dickerson and Connie (Don) Fulk both of Princeville, IL, Don (Martha) Dickerson and Brenda (Glen) Rider both from Louisa, KY. 17 grandkids, 37 great grandkids, and 26 great grandkids. She also leaves behind her favorite “daughter” her beloved dog Nellie.

Graveside services will be held at a later date and will be announced by the family.
