Oscar West Triplett Obituary

Oscar West Triplett 80 of Louisa, Kentucky passed away February 27, 2026 at the Hershel "Woody" Williams VA Medical Center following a brief illness.


Oscar was born July 2, 1945 at Martin County Kentucky the son of the late Andy and Rebecca Marcum Triplett. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by three brothers Walt, Turner, and Arvol Triplett; and five sisters Sally Adams, Geraldine Russell, Nancy Copley, Violet Triplett, and Roxie Triplett.


He was a retired Superintendent for the Marrowbone Development Corporation and proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.


Survivors include his loving wife Evelyn Branham Triplett; his children Brian Triplett, Tammy (James) Hall, Brad Triplett, and Kayla (Franklin) Lawson; his siblings Lona Kitchen, Eloise Beck and Phil Triplett; grandchildren Megan Holbrook, Lindsay Chapman, Amber Triplett, Allie Triplett, Braylee, Triplett, Kasen Lawson, and Draven Lawson; great great grandchildren Adaline Sue Holbrook, Michael Boone Holbrook, and Jameson Riggs Holbrook.


Funeral services will be held on Monday March 2nd at 2:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Rick May officiating. Burial with full military honors will be in the Yatesville Memorial Gardens Louisa, Kentucky. 


Friends may visit the family on Monday March 2nd from noon until time of services at the Wilson Funeral Home.
