Lemuel Ray Little Obituary
Lemuel Ray Little 83 went home to be with the Lord on March 10, 2026.
He was born July 23, 1942 in Chattaroy, WV. He served as Pastor of the Wilson Chapel Free Baptist Church for over 26 years. He was a retired school bus operator for the Wayne County Board of Education.
He is preceded in death by his parents Fred and Bessie Kerr Little; two grandchildren Jordan and Tyler Boone; his siblings Fred Jr. (Ann) Little, George (Bonnie) Little, John Henry Little, James (Pat) Little, Ruby (Dave) Robertson, and Boyd Little.
Survivors include his loving wife Virginia Jordan Little; a daughter Loretha (Clifford) Wilson, a son Darvan Ray (Beatrice) Little; grandchildren Tabatha (Jason) Ekers, Rachel (Danny) Ferguson, Joshua (Lillie) Wilson; great grandchildren Tanner Ferguson, Danny Ray Ferguson, Devon Ferguson, Katherine Wilson, Joshua Wilson Jr., Finley New, Lillian Wilson, and Lydia Wilson; a brother Donald (Dorothy) Little; and a sister-in-law Patsy Little Marcum. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends that he love dearly, and a special fur baby Punkin.
A Church Service will be held on Friday evening March 13th at 7:00 pm at the Wilson Chapel Free Baptist Church 3760 Bromley Ridge Road Fort Gay, WV with Pastor Perry Damron and Pastor Travis Perry officiating.
The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday March 14th at noon at the Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Damron and Pastor Perry officiating, Burial will follow in the Little Cemetery Fort Gay, WV. Friends may visit the family on Saturday from 10:00 am until time of services at noon at the Wilson Funeral Home.
