It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mont J. Wheeler on Saturday April 4th at Three Rivers Medical Center.

Mont devoted his time for two decades coaching many kids in the Louisa-Fort Gay Little League. He loved watching the Cincinnati Reds and would catch a train as a kid to go watch a game. He enjoyed and took pride in his yardwork and his gardening. He also enjoyed going Turkey hunting but his greates joy was watching his granddaughters play athletics.

He worked for Britton's Coca Cola in the early 60's. He spent 36 years as a welder for AEP at the Big Sandy plant, and was a member of the Fort Gay United Methodist Church.
