Carolyn Jean Scarberry Obituary
Carolyn Jean Scarberry 70 of Charley, Kentucky passed away April 10, 2026 at the Community Hospice Care Center following a long illness.
Carolyn was born July 2, 1955 at Huntington, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Clyde and Genevieve Mitchell Catlett. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by two sisters Susan Dernell and Linda Lenahan.
She was a Mental Health Therapist.
Survivors include her loving husband Charlie Scarberry; two daughters Amy Adkins and Stacy Denny; a son Gene Jarvis; a step-daughter Courtney (Jason) King; 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday April 17th a 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home with Todd Scarberry and Joe Castle officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Friday April 17th from noon until time of services at the Wilson Funeral Home.
Care for Carolyn and her family has been entrusted to our family at Wilson Funeral Home.
