Liam Joseph Cruz Muncy infant son of Joey Sparks and Shanna Muncy went home to heaven on April 18, 2026.

Liam was born February 18, 2026 at Pikeville, Kentucky. 

He is preceded in death by his aunt Amanda Sparks; Roger Dale Muncy his great grandfather; Alice Maynard his great great grandmother; Paul and Karen Bush his Great Grandparents; and Bobby Sparks his great grandfather.

Survivors include his parents Joey Sparks and Shanna Muncy; two sisters Aria Sparks and Keirstyn Sparks; grandparents Roger Lee (Misty) Muncy; Grandmother and Grandfather Samantha and Craig Nelson; Grandparents Billy and Kimberly Sparks; Great Grandparents Clifford and Sheila Spry; Great Grandparents Sarah and Gene Bell; Great Grandmother Leona Sparks;  Aunt and Uncle Emily (Aaron) Moore; Uncle Jeremy Hall; Aunt Jessica (Eric) Davis; Aunt and Uncle Laikyn and Adam Mareske; and Aunt and Uncle Jordan and Savannah Nelson; and a host of cousins and loved ones.

Funeral services will be held on Friday April 24th at 2:00 pm at the Trace Church of God at 99 Mt. Hope Drive Dingess, West Virginia. with Rev. Robbie May and Rev. Bobby Carter officiating. Burial will follow in the Newsome Cemetery on Newsome Ridge Road Naugatuck, West Virginia.

Friends may visit the family on Friday April 24th from 11:00 am until time of services at the Trace Church of God.
