Woodrow Rose Jr. better known as Junior passed away peacefully on July 10, 2026 at the Community Hospice Care Center.

Junior was born June 27, 1934 at Wilbur, Kentucky, the son of the late Woodrow and Susie Griffith Rose. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Judy Kitchen Rose.

He was a member of the Louisa Freewill Baptist Church and he served many families for over 50 years, having worked for every funeral home in Lawrence County at one time or the other.

Survivors include two sons Greg Rose and wife Karen and Chris Rose and wife Carmella; two grandsons Christopher Rose and Lincoln Rose.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday July 18th at 2:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Workman and Rev. Cecil Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery Louisa, Kentucky.

Friends may visit the family on Friday July 17th from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home.
