Lula Ramey, 90, of Sandy Hook, KY passed away Friday, December 13, 2019. Mrs.Ramey was born November 24, 1929 in Blaine, Kentucky to the late Chilt and Elizabeth Cantrell Osborne. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Ramey, a son, Jimmy Ramey, and a daughter, Marie Johnson. 

She is survived by  two sons, Larry Ramey and Bobby Ramey; four daughters, Nancy Cordle, Wanda Cordle, Martha Jane Gillman, and Debbie Ferguson; along with a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.                                                  

She was a Homemaker and member of the Big Blaine United Baptist Church

The family would like to extend a gracious thank you to the Sandy Hook Nursing Home for the eight years they took care of their mother.  They showed her love, compassion, and took her in like one of their own, for that we will be forever grateful, she loved each and every one of you like her own.  God sure blessed us to have you all in her life.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 16, 2019 at the Big Blaine United Baptist Church in Martha, KY with Elders Eulas Adams, Phil Caudill, and Walter Fields officiating. Burial will follow in the Sparks Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Sunday, December 15 after 5:00 PM at the Big Blaine United Baptist Church. All care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
