Obituary of Douglas W. Parker Parker

Douglas Wiley Parker, 84, of Louisa, KY passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2020. Mr. Parker was born October 13, 1935 in New Lexington, Ohio to the late Steve and Hoeglin Storts Parker. He was a retired Coal Truck Driver for Martiki Coal. 

 He is survived by his wife, Marlene Parker; two sons, Rick (Laura) Parker and Rodney (Rita) Parker; two daughters, Kimberly (John) O’Brien and Barbara (T.J.) Kelley; one brother, Dave (Kathy) Parker; ten grandchildren, Alicia Webb, Gerad Parker, Eric Parker, Megan Compton, Michael Parker, Connor O’Brien, Kaylee O’Brien, Anniah Giovannetti, Evan Kelley, and Kaylynn Kelley.  He also leaves behind fifteen great grandchildren and one nephew, Brett Essex.                      

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:30 PM on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Vinny Vanhoose officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Friday, February 21 from 5-9 PM at Wilson Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to
