Obituary of Gloria Jean Patton

Gloria Jean Patton 74 of Fort Gay, West Virginia passed away on February 15, 2024 at Three Rivers Medical Center following a long illness.

Gloria was born September 29, 1949 at Fort Gay, WV, the daughter of the late Murrel Dean and Gladys McCloud Dean. She is also preceded in death by her husband James Patton.

Gloria was a homemaker.

Survivors include a son Murrel and Diann Tarkington; brothers Dempsey (Janine), Mike (Tammy), Greg, and Tim (Charyl) Dean; grandchildren Serenite'e Tarkington and Adrianna (AJ) Tarkington.

Funeral services will be held on Monday February 19th at 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. Lafe Marcum officiating. Burial will follow in the Billups Gap Cemetery at Fort Gay, West Virginia. Friends may visit the family on Monday February 19th from 11:00 am until time of services at the Wilson Funeral Home.

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy be made as donations to Wilson Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
