Barbara C. Ball born November 8, 1938, the daughter of the late Dewey and Mabel Ferguson Cordle with sisters Betty, Dorothy and Mary Lou all come from a loving family. Barbara had high standards in life, to be a loving, reasonable, and discipline person. She was a teacher, mother and a person who worked for a better tomorrow. She was a graduate of Louisa High School and Ohio State University with honors. Barbara taught kids to reach out for high standards. She also wrote a book "To God Be The Glory". She was a perfectionist; she enjoyed making quilts to perfection. She raised a responsible family, a son James B. Ball II and wife Angela, grandchildren Elizabeth, Caden, Corbin, and Addy who she cared and loved very much. She also leaves behind a sister Dorothy Hoskins and her loving husband of 56 years Jim Ball. She reached her goal by loving God with all her heart and soul, all her mind and strength and loving her neighbor as herself. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday Jan. 14th at 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. David Maynard officiating. Burial will follow in the Yatesville Memorial Gardens at Louisa,KY. Friends may visit the family on Friday Jan. 13th from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm and also from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Friends serving as pallbearers will be Rick McFarland, Carlos "Buddy" Seagraves, Bob Seagraves, Don Moore, Terry Moore, and Roger Deskins. Care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
