Obituary of Rita Arrington Smith

Rita Lynn Arrington Smith, age 63, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on March 10, 2018 at Three Rivers Medical Center following a long illness. Rita was a homemaker. She was born on July 27, 1954; the daughter of the late Charlie and Della Harris Arrington. In addition to her parents, Rita is also preceded in death by her husband, Dennis L. Smith, a sister, Juanita Arrington West, and a brother-in-law, Claude West.

 

Survivors include a daughter, Jennifer (Randy) Thompson of Louisa, KY; three sons, Dennis (Becky) Smith, II of Louisa, KY, Kyle Smith of Lexington, KY, and Kevin Smith of Fort Gay, WV; two brothers, Kenneth (Edna) Arrington, and Chuck (Ruby) Arrington of Blaine, KY; two grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Rita is also survived by two lifelong, loving friends, Kenneth Lycans and Sandy Lycans.

 

Family, friends and others whose lives Rita has touched are invited to Wilson’s Funeral Home in Louisa, KY from 6pm to 9pm on March 14, 2018. The funeral service will be at 1pm on March15, 2018 with Bro. Chuck Price officiating. Burial will follow in the Sparks Cemetery in Blaine, KY.
