Mike was born June 8, 1966 the son of Milton and Bessie Laney of Louisa, KY. Mike passed away Tuesday October 9, 2012 at Three River Medical center Louisa, KY. He was preceded in death by his dad Milton, two brothers David and Melvin, one sister Janie Marcum, one niece Jeanie Wells, three nephews Buddy Preston, Walter Benjamin, and Mathew Douglas May. He is survived by his mother Bessie Laney, three sons Tyler Milton, Emanuale Wyatt, and John Jacob Laney, four sisters Junell May, Annie Dutton, Louella Stepp, and Mickey Rose all of Louisa, KY. And a great host of nieces and nephews. Mike was loved greatly by his family, a very well-liked man of everyone he met and is survived by many friends and extended family and will be missed by all who knew him. Mike was saved and baptized at a young age and joined the Richardson chapel church as well as the most of his family where he remained a member until his death. Though his life was filled with sickness, he had a love for life and a love for laughter. A prankster, cut-up, and a jokester. The family would like to think everyone for their prayers and every kind word and your time you have spent with us for our brother, our son, our father, and our uncle here today and all the days in the past. May the glorious GOD of Heaven bless you and yours. His sisters. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday October 12th at 11:30 am at the Richardson Chapel Church by Bro. Brad Dutton. Burial will follow in the Laney Cemetery at Richardson, KY. Friends may call after 5:00 pm Thursday at the Richard Chapel Church.
