Obituary of Herman Moore

Herman Moore, 91, of Louisa, KY passed away Monday, November 18, 2019 at Three Rivers Medical Center. Mr. Moore was born March 8, 1928 in Louisa, Kentucky to the late Sam and Fannie Howard Moore. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Deloris Moore, three brothers, Raymond Moore, Charlie Moore, and Thurman Moore, two sisters, Violet Thompson and Alka Young, and one daughter-in-law, Renita Moore. 

He is survived by three sons, Eddie Moore, Sammy Moore, Al (Karen) Moore; one daughter, Judy (Gary) Harless; two brothers, Denver Moore and Arthur Moore; four sisters, Stella Johnson, Irene Diamond, Bea Stambaugh, Hazel Burchett; seven grandchildren, Tyler Harless, Travis Harless, Jacob Moore, Kaden Moore, Brittany Moore, Sonny Moore, and Wade Moore; and three great-grandchildren.                                       

He was a farmer and sawmill operator, avid sportsman who loved baseball, especially the Cubs, Reds, and Red Sox. 

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Friday, November 22, 2019 at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Bonda Salyers and Rev. Roger Ross officiating. Burial will follow in the Judd-Miller Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Friday, November 22 from 11:00 AM until the time of services at Wilson Funeral Home. All care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
